Welcome to the Swimming Australia National Insurance Program (“the Program”) web site. Here you will find information and resources to assist with all of your insurance enquiries.

The advice contained on this website is general. Therefore you should read the Policy Wording and Product Disclosure Statement, where applicable, to help you decide if it suits your needs. We are happy to provide you with further information because it is important that you understand and are satisfied with the cover offered. Introduction

In October 2005 Swimming Australia, in conjunction with an Insurance Review Committee, appointed JLT Sport as their insurance broker of choice. Since appointment, JLT Sport has worked closely with Swimming Australia and all State Associations to unite the sport under the Swimming Australia National Insurance Program. This process has resulted in achieving premium savings, enhanced cover and vastly enhanced services for the sport of swimming and members of the Program.

This web site is provided by JLT Sport to deliver insurance information to all members of Swimming Australia and State Associations and ensure availability of information regarding the National Insurance Program.

What does the National Insurance Program involve?

The Swimming Australia National Insurance Program provides broad protection across the following insurance areas for all swimming clubs across Australia:

1. Combined General & Products Liability Cover (including Errors & Omissions Cover);
2. Personal Accident Cover for Capital Benefits, Non-Medicare Medical expenses and Loss of Income;
3. Club Management Liability Cover including Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Employee Theft cover.

Certificate of Currency

Certificates of Currency are available on this web site. This is a new facility introduced by JLT Sport to swimming clubs and is only available to affiliated clubs who have registered with their respective State Association and completed the online National Insurance Program registration process though this site.

As the Program renews annually on 1 May 2008 it is necessary for all clubs to complete the registration process at the beginning of each policy period to access their Certificate of Currency.

The current Swimming Australia National Risk Protection Program covers affiliated clubs for General and Products Liability, Club Management Liability and Personal Accident.

Clubs however are left to source their own cover for everything else including property and assets insurance for things such as gymnastics equipment, television, fridge, computers, stock etc. This can result in:

• Above average premiums being paid;
• Assets uninsured; or
• Assets inadequately covered (under-insured)
