Introduction

In October 2006, Gymnastics Australia, in conjunction with Association Members, appointed JLT Sport as their insurance broker of choice. Since this appointment, JLT Sport has embarked on a comprehensive process to provide all registered members with appropriate and economic insurance cover and associated risk protection products and services.

This web site is provided by JLT Sport to deliver information regarding insurance to all members of gymnastics and to ensure availability of information regarding the National Risk Protection Program.

What is the National Risk Protection Program?

The Gymnastics Australia National Risk Protection Program (NRPP) is arranged by JLT Sport in conjunction with Gymnastics Australia and Association Members and includes a number of benefits provided to gymnastics clubs throughout each state and territory. Through the NRPP all registered members have access to quality insurance at an affordable and consistent price. The goal of the NRPP is to provide sustainable insurance and a long term solution and peace of mind for all clubs into the future.

What does the National Risk Protection Program involve?

The NRPP provides competitively broad protection across the following insurance areas:

1. Personal Accident Cover: for Capital Benefits, Non-Medicare Medical expenses and Loss of Income.
2. General Liability Cover (including Professional Indemnity Cover).
3. Club Management Liability Cover including Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Employee Theft cover.

Certificate of Currency

Certificates of Currency are available on this web site. This is a new initiative introduced by JLT Sport to gymnastics clubs and is only available to affiliated clubs who have paid for insurance through the National Insurance Program.

JLT Sport Asset Protect – An exciting New Product from JLT Sport!!!

The current Gymnastics Australia National Risk Protection Program covers affiliated clubs for General and Products Liability, Club Management Liability and Personal Accident.

Clubs however are left to source their own cover for everything else including property and assets insurance for things such as gymnastics equipment, television, fridge, computers, stock etc. This can result in:

• Above average premiums being paid;
• Assets uninsured; or
• Assets inadequately covered (under-insured)

• Theft / Burglary (other than theft by an employee – as above)

The JLT Asset Protect website will allow your club to get an immediate online quote. Clubs will be able to pay on the spot or print a quote to consider at an upcoming meeting. The covers available are flexible as are the start and expiry dates for the policy.
