Welcome to the Football Federation Victoria Risk Protection Program 2008

In 2007, Football Federation Victoria (FFV) appointed JLT Sport to deliver the 2008 FFV insurance scheme.

The insurance scheme is now referred to as “The FFV Risk Protection Program” (the Program).

Risk Protection involves more than just insurance and JLT Sport are a proud to deliver the Program on behalf of FFV.

JLT Sport, in conjunction with FFV, provide the following products, services and insurance covers through the 2008 FFV Risk Protection Program:

• Competitively broad Insurance Covers including:
  • General and Products Liability (including Professional Indemnity)
  • Club Management Liability (applicable to incorporated clubs only)
  • Personal Accident Cover (including Capital Benefits, Non-Medicare Medical Benefits and Loss of Income).
• This easy to follow Web Site for all affiliated clubs and FFV members including:
  • Summary of covers.
  • Access to Certificates of Currency (linked to FFV’s database).
  • Risk Management education and training.

  • Practical ideas for managing risks within your club.

Important Notice

The level of cover and the competitive premiums of the FFV Risk Protection Program have been achieved through vigorous negotiation by JLT Sport with the insurance providers. The basis of these negotiations is that all affiliated clubs in Victoria will be part of the Program.

It is extremely important that every club supports this initiative and continues to promote the benefits where possible. Ultimately, FFV membership is the key to providing cover within the Program.

To ensure your club and members are covered within the FFV Risk Protection Program, please read the following important information:

• General & Products Liability cover is provided to affiliated clubs who, upon approval by FFV, have paid all applicable insurance premiums and fees as per FFV requirements.
• Club Management Liability cover is only provided to approved affiliated clubs who are incorporated. For further information regarding Incorporation requirements, please contact FFV directly
• Personal Accident cover is provided to members who are registered with FFV through your club in accordance with FFV membership procedures (i.e. Sportnet).

JLT Sport in conjunction with FFV proudly present, JLT Sport Asset Protect. This new product allows affiliated clubs to purchase very important cover for their property and assets. This new product is designed to utilise the collective buying power of around 14,000 clubs within JLT Sport’s partner sports throughout Australia to minimise premiums and provide enhanced benefits.

JLT Sport Asset Protect must be purchased separately. It is not part of the automatic covers of the FFV Risk Protection Program. See below for the types of cover offered through Asset Protect.
