JLT Sport Asset Protect

JLT Sport has successfully partnered with the National Sporting Bodies, the AFL, Cricket Australia, Netball Australia, Swimming Australia, Gymnastics Australia and Gridiron Australia, to deliver the National Risk Protection Programs covering some of the core aspects of clubs imperative insurance needs such as:

Public & Products Liability
Errors & Omissions (Professional Indemnity)
Club Management Liability (inc Directors & Officers, Employee Theft, Employment Practices Liability)
Personal Accident (inc Non-Medicare Medical, Capital Benefits & Optional Loss of Income)

However it is estimated that a significant majority of sporting organisations are either uninsured or under-insured in respect to their property and assets. This sees the very livelihood of your club at risk should a fire, theft or accidental damage cause a major financial loss.

To assist, JLT Sport in conjunction with the National Sporting Bodies and all State Associations are launching a new and exciting insurance product, JLT Sport Asset Protect, enabling clubs to cover their property and assets with a flexible industry standard insurance package.

The following major classes of insurance are not automatically included within the National Program however can be easily insured under the JLT Sport Asset Protect Program:

Fire & Extraneous Perils
Glass Breakage
Money
Theft / Burglary (other than theft by an employee – as above)
Business Interruption
Electronic Equipment
General Property
Machinery Breakdown / Deterioration of Stock
Accidental Damage

JLT Sport Asset Protect is designed to utilise the collective buying power of clubs within your sport and other JLT partner sports throughout Australia to minimise premiums and provide increased benefits.

Due for launch in January 2008 the quick and simple system will allow your club to get an immediate online quote. Clubs can pay on the spot or consider at an upcoming meeting. Flexible covers are available as is the start and expiry dates for the Policy.
