AFL Recreational Football
AFL Recreational Football has been developed to provide an opportunity for all Australian Football enthusiasts to enjoy participating in a modified game that has strong parallels with the traditional game. AFL Recreational football is designed so that ‘Everyone can play’ it is less physically demanding, has a minimal time commitment with no risk of serious injury with a major emphasis on fun and safety. Played in a friendly social environment, the game enables people of all ages and ability levels to participate in male, female or mixed competitions.
Personal Injury Coverage
At the AFL’s request, JLT Sport has arranged Personal Injury coverage for registered participants of AFL Recreational Football under the existing JLT Discretionary Trust Arrangement for the Australian Football National Risk Protection Programme. This cover is issued by JLT Group Services Pty Ltd (JGS) as Trustee and Manager and as their insurance broker, we have arranged the Insurance Cover protecting the Trust and its Members with Accident & Health International (AHI). AHI act as an agent for Allianz Australia Insurance Ltd.
Public Liability Coverage
The Australian Football National Risk Protection Programme also includes General Public & Products Liability cover for registered participants of AFL Recreational Football and any affiliated activities.
